Every morning I prepare Spencer’s medicine for him. He doesn’t need a full capsule so I have to open it up and pour the tiny beads on a scale to get the correct measurement. It hasn’t always been easy for me – not only the preciseness of the measuring, but also accepting that he needs the medication. But, now it is second nature and part of my early morning routine. One day he will do it on his own, and I’ll probably miss this part of my morning. Motherhood.
