Becoming Friends

The Motherhood Project|March

“What is a friend?  A single soul dwelling in two bodies.” –Aristotle

These two are so different.  I try to help them see each other’s point of view. We talk about being respectful of each other’s feelings.  We work on patience, empathy and understanding.  We practice managing arguments without yelling (not always successfully).  And every so often, I get the opportunity to sit back and watch their relationship develop without any assistance.  They will always be brothers, but I hope their friendship will transcend all else.

Please visit my dear friend Melissa to see her version of Motherhood this month.
